Super healthy delicious smoothies

Here in our household we LOVE smoothies... We have them at breakfast and oftentimes we have them as a snack.  And lately my little stinker is getting pickier and pickier about his veggies....sooooooo this is a great way to sneak in all his least fave veggies to ensure he is getting the proper nutrients. :)
Typically I make mine in the morning and take it to work with me. We use a Ninja master prep pro www.ninjakitchen.com and we have definitely gotten our use out of the blender!
We use it in soooooo many ways. But today will share with you two of my favorite smoothie recipes. Here goes.

Suspiciously healthy smoothie
Take your large blender and use these ingredients. I prefer placing them in in this order

  • 1cup peach Dixie juice from concentrate from trader joes
  • 1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Two handfuls of organic spinach
  • Two small handfuls organic broccoli
  • Chopped organic cucumber ( approximately 1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 cup chopped apple
  • 1 avocado
  • 1cup frozen fruit ( I alternate or mix up between pineapple, mango and or berries)
Blend away my friend. Blend until super smooth. If its too thick add more water.
Then enjoy.

Reese's cup smoothie
This is incredibly healthy yet sooooo good for you, plus it's filled with tons of fiber to keep you full for hours.

Start out the evening before and place 1/2 cup of rolled oats in a bowl and cover with almond milk. Then cover and refrigerate.
In the morning pull out your blender and add these ingredients.

  • Soaked oats
  • Banana
  • Heaping spoonful of peanut butter
  • Add almond milk to desired consistency
Blend and enjoy.

There you have it. You can thank me later..I know your body will. ;)
